Chimpanzees are highly adaptable species which habitats a wide range of forests in the African continent. It is one of the most active and social animals. As an enrichment measure, Arignar Anna Zoological Park provides a dynamic environment, cognitive challenges, and social opportunities. The enclosures have a provision of uplifted platforms, swings, rope hangings, resting rope bridges, hammock and water shower simulating the natural habitat.
