Theme For Participants:
Theme 1: Causes and Patterns of Human–Wildlife Conflict Understanding ecological, social, and developmental drivers of conflict. Identifying major conflict-prone species and regions. Studying trends across rural, urban, and forest interfaces.
Theme 2: Impacts on People and Wildlife Assessing agricultural losses, livestock depredation, and human safety risks. Analyzing effects on wildlife survival and conservation efforts. Exploring socio-economic and psychological impacts on communities.
Theme 3: Mitigation Strategies and Community Participation Evaluating the present technological solutions. Promoting habitat restoration, corridors, and coexistence landscapes. Showcasing traditional knowledge and local best practices.
Theme 4: Policy, Governance, and Future Pathways Identifying gaps in governance and management approaches. Exploring climate change challenges and future conflict scenarios. Charting a roadmap for coexistence and sustainable conservation.
