    Event Name: The zoo has started to cultivate Azolla

    Description:

    AAZP, Vandalur continues to extend its sustainable practices in zoo. The zoo has started to cultivate 'Azolla' in the water trough of empty enclosures. The cultivation has reached good yield of 1.5 kg per trough. Now the zoo birds, antlers, and antelopes are fed with high-protein diet in addition to their regular diet. The Zoo will be extending the cultivation.
